A pay as you feel evening featuring new Poet in Residence of the People Powered Press, Nabeela Ahmed, with Poet Kauser Mukhtar and live music by Qaiser Khan.

Qaiser Khan is a Tabla player of Punjab Gharana with over 20 years experience of accompanying vocalists & musicians across a range of genres including Folk, Ghazal, Qawaali, Classical & Semi Clasical. He also performs as solo vocalist singing a range of popular South Asian songs.

Kauser Mukhtar is a poet, lyricist & theatre maker, who loves to sing, and is passionate about her language, heritage and culture and sharing it with all who meet her.

Nabeela Ahmed is a writer, multilingual poet and spoken word artist. Her debut poetry collection, From Kashmir to Yorkshire, was launched this year at Bradford Literature Festival via Yaffle Press. She hosts Bradford Writes, has featured on Word of Mouth with Michael Rosen on Radio 4 and her project The Pahari-Pothwari Literature Project delivered two new bilingual anthologies for Bradford City of Culture 2025.
